Covenant membership is an important part of who we are at Grace Church Salado. The church exists to display God’s glory throughout the earth, and since creation, God has been creating a people for his own possession in a grand narrative of redemption and reconciliation. This means that followers of Jesus are part of something much bigger than ourselves.
When someone places their trust in Jesus and enters into a relationship with God, they are entering into two covenants. The first is to journey with God for the rest of their lives and love Him fully. The second is to journey with His children in community within the local church.
To be a covenant member simply means that an individual is identified with, is accountable to, and is a contributing participant to this local expression of the body of Christ. It’s a joy to belong to the local church and we hope that Grace Salado can be your new church family.
How to Become a Member
The first step in becoming a covenant member is to attend our “Discover Grace” class. These 1 hour gatherings are offered 4 times a year, and give you the opportunity to meet new people, learn about our church, meet the Grace leadership team, and find out how you can get connected through membership.
