We will be walking through a field-tested curriculum Transforming Small Group Leadership, by SoulCare Consulting. Attendance at all three dates is required for all Community Group Leaders. If you cannot make one, the videos will be available to watch remotely.
We are inviting current Community Group Leaders, potential leaders, and interested group participants who want to strengthen their role as Com-Group members. We believe this training will be instrumental in strengthening our vision of discipleship, compassionate leadership, and mutual-care.

We are created to worship! We are created to create! There are several ways you can lead out and serve at Grace to help cultivate these opportunities for and in our body. We want our arts teams to grow so that more of our people are serving where they are gifted!
There are opportunities for instrumentalists, vocalists, audio mixers, visual/graphic designers, videographers ect. Whether your skill level is mastery or novice, we'd love to have you attend the Third Thursday meetings!
This is an environment where you will be encouraged in worship leading, equipped in worship leading, and given the opportunity to encounter God with fellow creators. We will meet in the sanctuary every third Thursday of the month from 6:00-8:00pm.

Grace Salado Family Worship Night!
We are all back from vacations, camps, summer school, summer jobs, etc. The family is back together, so join us on August 23rd @ 7pm and start this semester off with singing to the One who is worthy!
All ages welcome to join and sing together at night of worship! (No childcare provided.)
Beginning on Sunday, September 6th @ 10:30am, we will begin a 10 week study through the "one-another's" that are found throughout the New Testament.
All who are new to Grace or to Community Groups are encouraged to join us to learn how every member of the body has a role to play in the building up one-another in the body through authentic engagement in a community.
Through this study we hope to accelerate the onboarding of new members into Community Groups at Grace.
The study will be led by Shannon Soard and will take place at the 10:30 AM hour in the Fellowship Hall at Grace Church Salado.
**Parents are welcome to check in their kids with Grace Kids in order to attend this study.

Beginning on September 28th, every Sunday morning for 8 weeks, men and women are invited to attend a book study, Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands by Paul Tripp.
This book study will be led by Jeff Jolly and will take place on Mondays at 5 PM hour in the Fellowship Hall at Grace Church Salado.
The 8 week book study will be for those who are desiring to go through ABC Level 1, but is open to others who would like to learn more about approaching personal ministry within the body of Christ.

Grace Women’s Book Club provides an opportunity for women to connect, build friendships, and grow in their faith through meaningful discussion of Christ-centered books.
Led by Leslie Hale, the first gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 13 @ 6PM, to discuss Dust to Dust: Aging Wisely in an Anti-Aging World by Jen Wilkin, with the meeting location shared closer to the date.
The club will then continue with What Grows in Weary Lands: On Christian Resilience by Tish Harrison Warren during November and December.

We’re partnering with Spiritual Orphans Network (SON) to take a missions team to Slovakia to help lead a week-long English bible camp. We’ll spend time building relationships, teaching English through a VBS style camp, and sharing the gospel.

Grace Students are headed to Spicewood, TX at the end of June for an extended weekend at Highland Lakes Camp! Camp includes daily worship, bible studies, and recreational activities. This year's speaker is John Durham is pastor of Highland Baptist Church in Waco; and our worship leader is Nick Gainey is Worship Pastor at Crosspoint Church in Rockwall.
Camp is for students who have completed Grades 6-12 and costs $375/student. The deadline for sign-up is March 15, 2025.

D-Now is a weekend event where we join with First Baptist Salado to hear from God’s Word through this year’s speaker - Jonathan Galvan of Redeemer Church in Midland, TX - and sing together on our church's campus
At night, students will stay in host homes from our church to enjoy fellowship together and to discuss what we hear from the speaker. D-Now is a great opportunity to encounter God and to build and strengthen friendships with other students!
