OUR VISION

God is actively at work in Salado.

As we’ve been passionately pursuing our mission of encountering God, equipping people with truth, and engaging the world- God has been blessing our Grace family with tremendous growth.

In the last 4 years alone, God has grown our Sunday morning worship attendance from 150 people to over 550 people and our Grace Kids ministry has gone from 23 kids to over 170 kids!

We are humbled and amazed by what God has been doing, but with this great news has come a great problem- we’re simply out of space. This rate of growth has exceeded our existing building capacity and is now affecting our ability to serve our Grace family and our community well.

After years of planning and prayer, we believe God is calling us to improve and expand our church campus to increase our disciple-making capacity and reach more people with the gospel. A campus improvement team, in coordination with elders and staff, have been prayerfully designing these plans to fit our specific needs as a church. Our Grace family unanimously approved the plan and vision, and we passionately believe that this plan will help more people encounter God, better equip our people with truth, and to engage the world more effectively

To make this vision a reality, we need to raise $4 Million. This generosity initiative that we’re calling ‘Grow Grace’ will enable us to add a brand new facility serving kids birth-5th grade, increase parking capacity, and enlarge our spaces for hospitality.

New Grace Kids Building

Since 2019, Grace’s children ministry has grown, and we have already outgrown the capacity of our classrooms. We are currently using upstairs student rooms, a meeting room, a counseling room, and the entire fellowship hall each week to accommodate Grace Kids.

This new building would create 6 new classrooms, 1 large meeting room with 4 breakout rooms, a resource room, sensory room, increased storage, and a new check-in area. This Grow Grace campaign will allow us to increase our maximum classroom capacity from 50 kids to 200-250 kids.

Parking Lot Expansion

In addition to the new kids building, this plan will also enlarge the church parking capacity by 300%. We currently have cars parking in the grass by the shed and are having use the field on the east side of campus as a temporary parking area.

This expansion will create new parking lots on the East and North sides of campus and a road around the perimeter of the campus that will help accommodate a growing number of families and give us the ability to welcome as many guests as God would bring in the future.

Foyer Renovation

In addition to the new kids building and parking lot expansions, Grow Grace will allow us to renovate the foyer to create more space for welcoming guests and allowing our body to fellowship with one another. This foyer renovation will create significantly more fellowship space in the the entryway, improve the bathrooms, and raise the ceilings for a more open feel.

To make this vision a reality, we are launching a generosity campaign this Fall to raise the final $1 Million to complete this project. We’re asking you to prayerfully consider how God might be calling you to faithfully give to this vision. There are three ways you can give secure, one-time gifts:
